It is Olive Drab No7 in colour (which is a dark green colour) and is in used condition. From the famous museum "La Percée d’Avranches" in France.

USA M2 D Bales Airborne Paratrooper: These are a set of reproduction 'D' bales or chinstrap loops for the American WW2 Paratroopers helmet. These helmets were manufactured by McCord during WW2 from the standard M1 helmet but the chinstrap loops were replaced with these 'D' bales in order to allow the paratrooper to adjust the position of the chinstrap.
