M1 M2 M1C Helmet Net: This is a GENUINE original
WW2 M1 M2 or M1C helmet net. It is manufactured from 100%
cotton and made from 9 ply cotton thread. It is Olive Drab
No7 in colour (which is a dark green colour) and is in used
condition. This is a superb item for your genuinue M1, M2
or M1C Helmet display or for authentic reenacting! The pictures
below show the general condition of the net, but each one
is different in wear and condition.
This net and several other like it were purchased
by me through an auction house from the famous museum "La
Percée d’Avranches", which has now unfortunately
closed down.
The owner of this museum collected many items from the battlefields
in Normandy and elsewhere in France and also received many
items from French locals and 'aquired' many in small batches!
So the authenticity of these items is probably the best available.
I have a limited supply of these so of course once they are
gone - they are gone for good! No resupply on this genuine
Normandy item I'm afraid!
