shells that I list on Ebay prior to them being listed. This
section details my helmets available at the prices below prior
to me adding them to the auction site. They are listed here
approximately for one week before being listed. |

NCO: M1 NCO's Helmet 327th Glider Infantry Regiment
First Battalion: This is a refurbished WW2 helmet recreating
the helmet worn by a NCO of the 327th Glider Infantry Regiment,
101st Airborne. On Ebay.

502st PIR 2d Battalion
Officer: This is a genuine WW2 M1 helmet and
refurbished & post war components, recreating a 'D' bale
M2 helmet worn by a Lieutenant of the 2'd Battalion 502'd Parachute
Infantry Regiment from the 101st Airborne Division. It is as
found in field conditions, hence there are dents, scrapes, stress
fractures, rust etc. Sold.

NCO: M1 McCord front seam, swivel bale, stainless
rim, converted to a M2, fixed 'D' bale M2 with the Bales carefully
blended into the metalwork. The helmet has a painted ETO NCO
stripe to the rear & NCO rank at the front. Sold. |

converted to a M2 Airborne helmet & post war decals, recreating
the helmet worn by a Lieutenant with the 1st Battalion 505th
Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82'd Airborne. The helmet paint
is in 'as found' condition All I have done is added the decals

a Lieutenant with the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82'd

one worn through all campaigns including the battle of the Bulge.

Helmet: This helmet is a WW2 swivel bale converted
to M2 fixed bale, stainless rim and front seam, repainted into
101st Airborne Military Police Plt colour's, taken from an original
surviving example! A superb M2 helmet. It represents one found
on the battlefield several years after the war with heavy wear
and ageing! Sold. |

M1C WW2 Recon Platoon
101st ABN Helmet: Swivel bail M1C model, as
used by the US Airborne in WW2. The painted decals are identical
to the WW2 versions, this helmet decals are properly aged and
look the part after 60+ years of life span! Notice the NCO ETO
bar to the rear and the NCO markings to front.

M1C WW2 HQ Company 505
PIR Helmet: The swivel bales - in my opinion
these have been converted from M2 or M1 fixed bales as they
are at a slightly irregular angle and the welding is not as
neat as factory produced ones and, you can see a fixed bale
weld spot! In my estimate this is a 100% genuine converted fixed
bale helmet probably converted sometime after July 1944!

Airborne NCO: NCO of the WW2 American 504th
Parachute Infantry Battalion, 82'd Airborne.The 'Shooting Star'
decals at each side are painted to the correct size and placement.
It is unknown which battalion this belonged too although there
have been helmets found with 2 'ticks' so possibly this is a
third battalion vaiant.Sold. |

509th PIB: The main paintwork is untouched and
in original 'as found' condition! The 'Gingerbread Man' decal
is painted in a faded White red and blue colours - different
colours are thought to represent the different battalions but
no veteran can remember which was which but the three colours
'gingerbread man' is thought to be the Scout (Reccie), or HQ
Company. Sold. |

M1 WW2 99th Fighter Squadron
Tuskegee Helmet: This is a post WW2 helmet and
refurbished paintwork, recreating the helmet worn by a member
of the Black WW2 American 99th Fighter Squadron - Tuskegee 'Red
Tails'. It is in refurbished condition and the seam has been
converted from rear to front, there are small dents, scrapes,
rust, etc. but generally in top condition. Sold. |

M1 M1C WW2 82d Airborne
Divisional Military Police MP Helmet: This is
a WW2 style rear seam, swivel bale, non-stainless rim &
batch marked helmet, repainted in Divisional MP colour's. Many
collectors turn their noses up at swivel bales because they
think they were not used till late in 1945 or post war. There
is now published photographic evidence showing swivel bales
being used from July 1944. Sold. |

shell has been refurbished from an original WW2 helmet, it is
a front seam, stainless rim, swivel bail M1 model converted
to a fixed 'D' Bale M2, as used by the US Airborne in WW2. The
painted decals are identical to the WW2 versions, in size and
placement. The palm tree is the unit identifier of the 551st
PIR. Sold. |

2'd Rangers Officer: This
is a refurbished genuine second world war WW2 helmet and post
war refurbishment, recreating the helmet worn by a Lieutenant
with the 2'd Ranger Battalion. The helmet paint is in 'as found'
condition with only the painted decals & bales added. Sold. |

is a refurbished genuine second world war WW2 helmet and post
war refurbishment, recreating the helmet worn by a Lieutenant
with the 307th Airborne Engineer Battalion, 82'd Airborne. The
helmet paint is in 'as found' condition with only the painted

a WWII fixed bale 28th Infantry Division NCO Helmet. It is shrapnel
damaged and has seen action. The helmet is 100% original other
than the Keystone Divisional Insignia, NCO stripe and bale conversion.
