This is an original WW2 front seam, swivel bale, stainless
rim & batch dated helmet, coverted to an Airborne M2 and
repainted in Divisional MP colour's.
This helmet is a WW2 swivel bale, stainless
rim and front seam repainted into 101'st Airborne Divisional
Military Police colour's, taken from an original surviving
example! A superb M2 helmet. The helmet has been refurbished
to look as if it straight from the production line but with
very light 60+ years of ageing. There is a batch stamp to
the front dating it to 1944.
