M37 Model Fallschirmjägerhelm (Paratroopers Helmet) Normandy: This is a first class reproduction Fallschirmjager Helmet. It is based on a M37 model shell, with standard early pattern helmet bolts and M38 pattern liner. This helmet is based on one used at Normandy. It was originally Army grey/green but has been re-sprayed in tan & green, typical Normandy colours. There was a Heer (Army), decal on one side but this has been removed but the outline can still be seen and the National colours decal can still be seen. The inner lining is worn and aged, again to reflect the period of use and 60+ years of ageing. Notice the rust coming through the paintwork in several places and the crackling to the paint, all adding to the authenticity. There is a makers mark - ET71 and batch number on the inner rim and an 'Acceptance Stamp' inside the crown of the shell. This helmet would make a superb item in you fallschirmjäger collection. It would make a great filler till you get a genuine M37 Normandy helmet which is highly unlikely unless you have approx £18000+ to spare and the luck to find one!
