M37 Model German Fallschirmjager Helmet Russia: This Fallschirmjager German helmet is a early to mid-war model M37 paratrooper (Fallschirjager), helmet. It has early pattern helmet bolts and standard pattern chinstrap's. This fallschirmjager helmet represents one used in winter 1941 in Russia. The goggles are German WW2 type sand/winter goggles. It has its original luftwaffe field grey colour and then has been over painted by hand in winter white colours. The fallschirjager eagle decal is the second model luftwaffe eagle and has been painted round and is 100% visible and 95% intact. The owner has has name painted inside the helmet rim - 'S. Hans IFJRIII' . The helmet has a partial Luftwaffe acceptance stamp in the dome and shell size stamped in the inner rim(ET71) and the batch number (1557) The partial acceptance stamp can bee see by lifting the middle liner. Rust covers the remainder of the acceptance stamp. There is also rusting around the rim of the fallschirmjager helmet. This is your typical winter M37 Russian German Fallschirmjager Helmet in colour, ageing, camouflage, goggles and markings. It has been aged to look as if it has just come off the battlefield, with rust in places, heavy wear and well used! This item comes in a suitable aged box and a 'send home' label! A great present for the military collector!
