Fallschirmjager.Biz online Store - German Repro Items: M38 Model Fallschirmjägerhelm (Paratrooper Helmet) Luftwaffe (Air Force): This helmet is based on usage during the Normandy campaigns of World War Two. It is dark Luftwaffe green and the green has aged during combat and over the years. It has the later model aluminium bolts all round. It has a galvanised chicken wire shell added, which was very common during the late war years. Of course being galvanised it did not rust very easily! The twist in the wire is of the correct European type.

The inner lining is very well maintained yet aged, again to reflect the period of use and 60+ years of ageing. The lining rubber is . There are two stamps in the liner leather one of which is the RB Number which replaced manufacturers markings in mid to late war. The single eagle decal is 100% intact and has aged superbly.

This helmet would make a superb item in your Fallschirmjäger collection. It would make a great filler till you get a genuine M38 Luftwaffe chicken wire camouflage helmet. This is not a cheap paint job as found on most well known auction sites - effort and time has been spent to get it 'correct'!

This item comes in a suitable aged box and if desired you can have your (or the recipients), rank and name marked on the box! A great present for the military collector!
