WWI ARRAS Trench Art German Shell Case: This is a very beautiful and painstaking piece of WW1 Trench Art. It is a German shell which has been transformed into a woodland scene. I'm guessing that the German soldier who did this, made it for his son or daughter. The shell base is marked 'Dusseldorf 1917' and has various other markings. The side is marked '1914 ARRAS 1918'.
